Nowconcerningspiritual gifts, brethren, I wouldnothaveyouignorant.

Ye knowthat ye wereGentiles, carried awayunto these dumbidols, even as ye wereled.
Wherefore I giveyou to understand, that no manspeakingby the Spirit of GodcallethJesusaccursed: andthat no mancansaythatJesus is the Lord, butby the HolyGhost.
Now there arediversities of gifts, but the sameSpirit.
And there aredifferences of administrations, but the sameLord.
And there arediversities of operations, but it is the sameGodwhichworkethallinall.
But the manifestation of the Spirit is givento every manto profit withal.
For to one is givenby the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledgeby the sameSpirit;

To anotherfaithby the sameSpirit; to another the gifts of healingby the sameSpirit;

To another the working of miracles; to anotherprophecy; to anotherdiscerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:
Butalltheseworketh that oneand the selfsameSpirit, dividing to every manseverallyas he will.
Foras the bodyisone, andhathmanymembers, andall the members of that onebody, beingmany, areonebody: soalsoisChrist.
ForbyoneSpiritareweallbaptizedintoonebody, whetherwe be JewsorGentiles, whetherwe be bondorfree; and have beenall made to drinkintooneSpirit.
For the bodyisnotonemember, butmany.
If the foot shall say, Because I amnot the hand, I amnotof the body; is it thereforenotof the body?
Andif the ear shall say, Because I amnot the eye, I amnotof the body; is it thereforenotof the body?
If the wholebody were an eye, where were the hearing?If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?
ButnowhathGodset the memberseveryone of themin the body, as it hath pleased him.
Andif they wereallonemember, wherewere the body?
Butnow are they manymembers, yet butonebody.
And the eyecannotsay unto the hand, I havenoneed of thee: noragain the head to the feet, I havenoneed of you.
Nay, muchmore those members of the body, which seem to bemorefeeble, arenecessary:
Andthose members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundanthonour; andouruncomely parts have more abundantcomeliness.
Forourcomely parts havenoneed: butGod hath tempered the bodytogether, having given more abundanthonour to that part which lacked:
That there should benoschismin the body; butthat the members should have the samecare one foranother.
Andwhetheronemembersuffer, all the memberssuffer with it; oronemember be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.
Nowyeare the body of Christ, andmembersinparticular.
AndGod hath setsomein the church, firstapostles, secondarilyprophets, thirdlyteachers, after thatmiracles, thengifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.

Are allapostles? are allprophets? are allteachers? are all workers of miracles?
Haveall the gifts of healing?doallspeak with tongues?doallinterpret?
But covet earnestly the bestgifts: andyet shew I unto you a moreexcellentway.
