Now as touching things offered unto idols, we knowthat we allhaveknowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, butcharityedifieth.
And if any manthink that he knoweth any thing, he knowethnothingyetas he ought to know.
But if any manloveGod, the same is knownofhim.

As concerningtherefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we knowthat an idol is nothingin the world, andthat there is noneotherGodbutone.
Forthough there be that are calledgods, whetherinheavenorin earth,(as there begodsmany, andlordsmany,)
But to us there is butoneGod, the Father, ofwhom are all things, andweinhim; andoneLordJesusChrist, bywhom are all things, andwebyhim.
Howbeit there is notin every man that knowledge: forsome with conscience of the idolunto this houreat it as a thing offered unto an idol; andtheirconsciencebeingweak is defiled.
Butmeatcommendethusnot to God: forneither, if we eat, are we the better; neither, if we eatnot, are we the worse.
But take heedlest by any meansthisliberty of yoursbecome a stumblingblock to them that are weak.
Forif any manseetheewhichhastknowledge sit at meatin the idol's temple, shallnot the conscience of himwhichisweak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols;
Andthroughthyknowledgeshall the weakbrotherperish, forwhomChristdied?
But when ye sinsoagainst the brethren, andwoundtheirweakconscience, ye sinagainstChrist.
Wherefore, ifmeatmakemybrother to offend, I will eatnoflesh while the world standeth, lest I makemybrother to offend.
