But I determinedthis with myself, that I wouldnotcomeagaintoyouinheaviness.
ForifImakeyousorry, who is hethen that makethmeglad, but the same which is made sorrybyme?
AndIwrotethissame unto you, lest, when Icame, I should havesorrowfrom them of whomIought to rejoice; having confidenceinyouall, thatmyjoyis the joy of youall.
For out ofmuchafflictionandanguishofheart I wroteuntoyouwithmanytears; notthat ye should be grieved, butthat ye might know the lovewhich I have more abundantlyuntoyou.
But if any have caused grief, he hathnotgrievedme, butinpart: that I maynotoverchargeyouall.
Sufficient to such a man is thispunishment, which was inflicted ofmany.
So that contrariwiseye ought rather to forgive him, andcomfort him, lestperhaps such a one should be swallowed up with overmuchsorrow.
Wherefore I beseechyou that ye would confirm your lovetowardhim.
Forto this endalso did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether ye beobedientin all things.

To whom ye forgive any thing, Iforgivealso: for if Iforgave any thing, to whomIforgave it, for your sakesforgaveI it in the person of Christ;
LestSatan should get an advantage of us: for we are notignorant of hisdevices.
Furthermore, when I cametoTroasto preach Christ's gospel, and a door was opened unto meof the Lord,
Ihadnorest in myspirit, because IfoundnotTitusmybrother: but taking myleave of them, I went from thenceintoMacedonia.
Nowthanks be unto God, which alwayscausethus to triumphinChrist, and maketh manifest the savour of hisknowledgebyusineveryplace.
For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that aresaved, andin them that perish:
To the one we are the savour of deathuntodeath; andto the other the savour of lifeuntolife. Andwho is sufficientfor these things?
Forwearenotasmany, which corrupt the wordofGod: butasofsincerity, butasofGod, in the sightofGod speak weinChrist.
