For we knowthatifourearthlyhouseof this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a buildingofGod, an house not made with hands, eternalin the heavens.
Forinthis we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with ourhousewhich is fromheaven:
Ifso be that being clothed we shallnot be foundnaked.
For we thatarein this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: notforthat we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, thatmortality might be swallowed upoflife.
Now he that hath wroughtusfor the selfsame thing is God, whoalso hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.
Therefore we are alwaysconfident, knowingthat, whilst we are at homein the body, we are absentfrom the Lord:

(For we walkbyfaith, notbysight:)

We are confident, I say, andwillingrather to be absentfrom the body, and to be presentwith the Lord.
Wherefore we labour, that, whetherpresentorabsent, we may beaccepted of him.
Forwemustallappearbefore the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things donein his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be goodorbad.
Knowingtherefore the terror of the Lord, we persuademen; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trustalso are made manifestinyourconsciences.
For we commendnotourselvesagain unto you, butgiveyouoccasiontogloryonourbehalf, that ye may have somewhat to answer them which gloryinappearance, andnotinheart.
Forwhether we be beside ourselves, it is to God: or whether we be sober, it is for your cause.
For the love of Christconstrainethus; because we thusjudge, thatifonediedforall, thenwerealldead:
Andthat he diedforall, that they which liveshould not henceforthlive unto themselves, but unto him which diedforthem, and rose again.
Whereforehenceforthknowwe no manafter the flesh: yea, thoughwe have knownChristafter the flesh, yetnowhenceforthknowwe him no more.
Therefore if any man be inChrist, he is a newcreature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are becomenew.
And all things are ofGod, who hath reconciledus to himselfbyJesusChrist, and hath given to us the ministryofreconciliation;

To wit, thatGodwasinChrist, reconciling the worlduntohimself, notimputingtheirtrespassesuntothem; and hath committeduntous the word of reconciliation.

Now then we are ambassadorsforChrist, as thoughGod did beseech you byus: we pray you inChrist's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
For he hath madehim to be sinforus, whoknewnosin; thatwe might be made the righteousness of Godinhim.
