1Children, obeyyourparentsin the Lord: forthisisright.
2Honourthyfatherand mother;(which is the firstcommandmentwithpromise;)
3That it may bewell with thee, and thou mayest live longon the earth.
4And, ye fathers, provokenotyourchildren to wrath: butbringthemupin the nurtureandadmonition of the Lord.
5Servants, be obedientto them that are yourmasters according to the flesh, withfearandtrembling, insingleness of yourheart, as unto Christ;
6Notwitheyeservice, asmenpleasers; butas the servants of Christ, doing the will of Godfrom the heart;
7With good will doing service, as to the Lord, andnot to men:
8Knowingthatwhatsoever good thing any mandoeth, the same shall he receiveof the Lord, whether he be bondorfree.
9And, ye masters, do the same thingsuntothem, forbearingthreatening: knowingthatyourMasteralsoisinheaven; neitheristhere respect of personswithhim.
10Finally, mybrethren, be strongin the Lord, andin the power of hismight.

Put on the whole armour of God, thatye may be able to standagainst the wiles of the devil.
12Forwewrestlenotagainstfleshandblood, butagainstprincipalities, againstpowers, against the rulers of the darkness of thisworld, againstspiritualwickednessinhigh places.
13Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstandin the evilday, and having doneall, to stand.
14Standtherefore, havingyourloins girt aboutwithtruth, andhavingon the breastplate of righteousness;
15And your feetshodwith the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16Aboveall, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quenchall the fierydarts of the wicked.
17Andtake the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18Prayingalwayswithallprayerandsupplicationin the Spirit, andwatchingthereuntowithallperseveranceandsupplicationforallsaints;
19Andforme, thatutterance may be given unto me, that I may openmymouthboldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
20ForwhichI am an ambassadorinbonds: thatthereinI may speakboldly, asIought to speak.
21Butthatyealso may knowmyaffairs, andhow I do, Tychicus, a belovedbrotherandfaithfulministerin the Lord, shall make known to you all things:
22Whom I have sentuntoyoufor the samepurpose, that ye might knowouraffairs, andthat he might comfortyourhearts.
23Peace be to the brethren, andlovewithfaith, fromGod the Fatherand the LordJesusChrist.
