Thenfourteenyearsafter I went upagaintoJerusalemwithBarnabas, and tookTituswithmealso.
And I went upbyrevelation, andcommunicated unto them that gospelwhich I preachamong the Gentiles, butprivately to themwhich were of reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run, invain.
ButneitherTitus, who was withme, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised:
Andthat because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came inprivily to spy outourlibertywhich we haveinChristJesus, that they might bringus into bondage:

To whom we gave place by subjection, no, notfor an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continuewithyou.
Butof these who seemed to be somewhat,(whatsoever they were, it makethnomatter to me: Godacceptethno man's person:) for they who seemed to be somewhat in conference addednothing to me:
Butcontrariwise, when they sawthat the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter;

(For he that wrought effectually in Peterto the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in metoward the Gentiles:)
And when James, Cephas, andJohn, whoseemed to bepillars, perceived the gracethat was givenuntome, theygave to meandBarnabas the right hands of fellowship; thatwe should go unto the heathen, andtheyunto the circumcision.
Only they would that we should remember the poor; the samewhichIalso was forward to do.
ButwhenPeterwascometoAntioch, I withstoodhimto the face, because he wasto be blamed.
Forbefore that certaincamefromJames, he did eatwith the Gentiles: butwhen they were come, he withdrewandseparatedhimself, fearing them which were of the circumcision.
And the otherJewsdissembledlikewise with him; insomuch that Barnabasalso was carried away with theirdissimulation.
Butwhen I sawthat they walkednotuprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peterbefore them all, Ifthou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, andnot as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentilesto live as do the Jews?
We who are Jews by nature, andnotsinnersof the Gentiles,
Knowingthat a manisnotjustifiedby the works of the law, butby the faith of JesusChrist, evenwe have believedinJesusChrist, thatwe might be justifiedby the faith of Christ, andnotby the works of the law: forby the works of the lawshallnoflesh be justified.
Butif, while weseek to be justifiedbyChrist, weourselvesalso are foundsinners, is thereforeChrist the minister of sin? God forbid.
Forif I buildagain the thingswhich I destroyed, I makemyself a transgressor.
ForIthrough the law am dead to the law, thatI might live unto God.
I am crucified with Christ: neverthelessIlive; yet notI, butChristlivethinme: and the life whichInowlivein the fleshIliveby the faith of the Son of God, wholovedme, andgavehimselfforme.

I donotfrustrate the grace of God: forifrighteousness come by the law, thenChrist is dead in vain.
