1Forevery high priesttaken from amongmen is ordainedformen in things pertaining toGod, that he may offerbothgiftsandsacrificesforsins:

Who can have compassion on the ignorant, and on them that are out of the way; for that hehimselfalso is compassed with infirmity.
3And by reasonhereof he ought, asfor the people, soalsoforhimself, to offerforsins.
4Andnomantaketh this honour unto himself, but he that is calledofGod, as was Aaron.
5SoalsoChristglorifiednothimself to be made an high priest; but he that saiduntohim, ThouartmySon, to dayhaveIbegottenthee.
6As he saithalsoinanother place, Thou art a priestforeverafter the order of Melchisedec.
7Whoin the days of hisflesh, when he had offered upprayersandsupplicationswithstrongcryingandtearsuntohimthat was able to savehimfromdeath, and was heardinthat he feared;
8Thoughhewere a Son, yet learned heobedienceby the things whichhesuffered;
9And being made perfect, he became the author of eternalsalvation unto all them that obeyhim;
10CalledofGod an high priestafter the orderofMelchisedec.
11Ofwhomwehave many things to say, andhard to be uttered, seeing ye aredullofhearing.
12For when for the time ye ought to beteachers, ye haveneed that one teachyouagainwhichbe the firstprinciples of the oracles of God; and are become such ashaveneed of milk, andnot of strongmeat.
13For every one that usethmilkisunskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
14Butstrongmeat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of usehave their sensesexercisedtodiscernbothgoodandevil.
