Blessed is the manthatendurethtemptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them thatlovehim.
Let no mansay when he is tempted, I am temptedofGod: forGod cannot be tempted with evil, neithertemptethhe any man:
But every man is tempted, when he is drawn awayof his ownlust, andenticed.
Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forthsin: andsin, when it is finished, bringeth forthdeath.

Of his own will begat heus with the word of truth, thatwe should be a kind of firstfruits of hiscreatures.
For the wrath of manworkethnot the righteousness of God.
Wherefore lay apartallfilthinessandsuperfluity of naughtiness, andreceivewithmeekness the engraftedword, which is able to saveyoursouls.
But be yedoers of the word, andnothearersonly, deceiving your own selves.
For if anybe a hearer of the word, andnot a doer, he is like unto a manbeholdinghisnaturalfacein a glass:
For he beholdethhimself, and goeth his way, andstraightwayforgetteth what manner of man he was.
But whoso lookethinto the perfectlaw of liberty, andcontinueth therein, hebeingnot a forgetfulhearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall beblessedinhisdeed.
