3Yourgoldandsilver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witnessagainstyou, and shall eatyourflesh as it werefire. Ye have heaped treasure togetherfor the lastdays.
4Behold, the hireof the labourerswho have reapeddownyourfields, which is ofyou kept back by fraud, crieth: and the criesof them which have reaped are enteredinto the earsof the Lordofsabaoth.

Ye have lived inpleasureon the earth, and been wanton; ye have nourishedyourhearts, asin a day of slaughter.

Ye have condemned and killed the just; and he dothnotresistyou.

Be patienttherefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandmanwaitethfor the preciousfruit of the earth, and hath long patienceforit, until he receive the earlyandlatterrain.
8Beyealsopatient; stablishyourhearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.
9Grudgenot one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judgestandethbefore the door.
10Take, mybrethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience.
11Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lordis very pitiful, and of tender mercy.
12Butabove all things, mybrethren, swearnot, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by anyotheroath: butletyouryeabeyea; andyournay, nay; lest ye fallintocondemnation.
13Isanyamongyouafflicted? let him pray. Isanymerry? let him sing psalms.
14Isanysickamongyou? let himcall for the elders of the church; and let them prayoverhim, anointinghim with oilin the name of the Lord:
15And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raisehimup; andif he havecommittedsins, they shall be forgivenhim.
16Confess your faultsone to another, andprayoneforanother, that ye may be healed. The effectual ferventprayer of a righteous manavailethmuch.
17Eliaswas a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayedearnestly that it mightnotrain: and it rainednoton the earth by the space of threeyearsandsixmonths.
18And he prayedagain, and the heavengaverain, and the earth brought forthherfruit.
19Brethren, ifanyofyou do errfrom the truth, andoneconverthim;
20Lethimknow, that he which converteth the sinnerfrom the error of hisway shall save a soulfromdeath, and shall hide a multitude of sins.
