These things have I spoken unto you, that ye shouldnot be offended.

They shall putyou out of the synagogues: yea, the timecometh, thatwhosoeverkillethyou will thinkthat he doethGodservice.
3And these things will they do unto you, because they havenotknown the Father, norme.
4But these things have Itoldyou, thatwhen the time shall come, ye may rememberthatItoldyou of them. And these thingsIsaidnot unto youat the beginning, becauseIwaswithyou.
5Butnow I go my wayto him that sentme; andnoneofyouaskethme, Whither goest thou?
6Butbecause I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filledyourheart.
7NeverthelessItellyou the truth; It is expedientforyouthatIgoaway: forifIgonotaway, the Comforterwillnotcomeuntoyou; butifIdepart, Iwillsendhimuntoyou.
8And when he is come, he will reprove the worldofsin, andofrighteousness, andofjudgment:
9Ofsin, because they believenotonme;
10Ofrighteousness, because I gotomyFather, and ye seeme no more;
11Ofjudgment, because the princeofthisworld is judged.

I haveyet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear themnow.
13Howbeitwhenhe, the Spiritoftruth, is come, he will guideyouintoalltruth: forheshallnotspeakofhimself; butwhatsoeverheshallhear, that shallhespeak: andhe will shewyou things to come.
14He shall glorifyme: forhe shall receiveofmine, and shall shew it unto you.

All thingsthat the Fatherhatharemine: therefore said I, that he shall takeofmine, and shall shew it unto you.

A little while, and ye shallnotseeme: andagain, a little while, and ye shallseeme, becauseIgoto the Father.
17Thensaid some ofhisdisciplesamongthemselves, Whatisthisthat he saith unto us, A little while, and ye shallnotseeme: andagain, a little while, and ye shallseeme: and, BecauseIgoto the Father?

They saidtherefore, Whatisthisthat he saith, A little while? we cannottellwhat he saith.
19NowJesusknewthat they were desirous to askhim, andsaid unto them, Do ye enquireamongyourselvesofthat I said, A little while, and ye shallnotseeme: andagain, a little while, and ye shallseeme?
20Verily, verily, I say unto you, Thatye shall weepandlament, but the world shall rejoice: andye shall be sorrowful, butyoursorrow shall be turnedintojoy.

A womanwhen she is in travailhathsorrow, becauseherhour is come: butas soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, forjoythat a man is borninto the world.
22Andyenowthereforehavesorrow: but I will seeyouagain, andyourheart shall rejoice, andyourjoy no mantakethfromyou.
23Andinthatday ye shallaskmenothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shallask the Fatherinmyname, he will give it you.
24Hitherto have ye askednothinginmyname: ask, and ye shall receive, thatyourjoy may befull.

These things have I spoken unto youinproverbs: but the timecometh, when I shall no morespeak unto youinproverbs, but I shallshewyouplainlyof the Father.
26Atthatday ye shall askinmyname: andIsaynot unto you, thatI will pray the Fatherforyou:
27For the Fatherhimselflovethyou, becauseye have lovedme, and have believedthatI came outfromGod.

I came forthfrom the Father, and am comeinto the world: again, I leave the world, andgoto the Father.
30Now are we surethat thou knowest all things, andneedestnotthat any man should askthee: bythis we believethat thou camest forthfromGod.
31Jesusansweredthem, Do yenowbelieve?
32Behold, the hourcometh, yea, isnowcome, that ye shall be scattered, every manto his own, and shall leavemealone: andyet I amnotalone, because the Fatheriswithme.

These thingsIhavespoken unto you, thatinme ye might havepeace. In the world ye shall havetribulation: but be of good cheer; Ihaveovercome the world.
