And a greatmultitudefollowedhim, because they sawhismiracleswhich he didon them that were diseased.
AndJesus went upinto a mountain, andthere he satwithhisdisciples.
And the passover, a feast of the Jews, wasnigh.

When Jesusthen lifted up his eyes, andsaw a greatcompanycomeuntohim, he saithuntoPhilip, Whence shall we buybread, thatthese may eat?
Andthis he said to provehim: for he himselfknewwhat he woulddo.
Philipansweredhim, Two hundredpennyworth of breadisnotsufficient for them, that every one of them may takealittle.
Oneofhisdisciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, saith unto him,

There isaladhere, whichhathfivebarleyloaves, andtwo small fishes: butwhataretheyamong so many?
AndJesussaid, Make the men sit down. Now there wasmuchgrassin the place. So the men sat down, innumberabout five thousand.
AndJesustook the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; andlikewiseof the fishesas much as they would.
When they were filled, he said unto hisdisciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.
Therefore they gathered them together, andfilledtwelvebaskets with the fragmentsof the fivebarleyloaves, which remained over andabove unto them that had eaten.
Then those men, when they had seen the miraclethatJesusdid, said, Thisis of a truththatprophetthat should comeinto the world.

When Jesusthereforeperceivedthat they wouldcomeandtakehim by force, tomakehim a king, he departedagaininto a mountainhimselfalone.
Andwheneven was now come, hisdisciples went downunto the sea,
Andenteredinto a ship, andwentover the seatowardCapernaum. And it wasnowdark, andJesuswasnotcometothem.
And the seaarose by reason of a greatwind that blew.
So when they had rowedaboutfiveandtwentyorthirtyfurlongs, they seeJesuswalkingon the sea, anddrawingnigh unto the ship: and they were afraid.
But he saith unto them, It isI; benotafraid.
Then they willinglyreceivedhiminto the ship: andimmediately the shipwasat the landwhither they went.

The day following, when the peoplewhichstood on the otherside of the seasawthattherewasnoneotherboatthere, savethatonewhereintohisdisciples were entered, andthatJesuswentnotwithhisdisciplesinto the boat, butthathisdisciples were gone awayalone;

(Howbeit there cameotherboatsfromTiberiasnigh unto the placewhere they did eatbread, after that the Lord had given thanks:)
When the peoplethereforesawthatJesuswasnotthere, neitherhisdisciples, theyalsotookshipping, andcametoCapernaum, seeking forJesus.
Andwhen they had foundhim on the other side of the sea, they said unto him, Rabbi, when camest thouhither?
Jesusansweredthemandsaid, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seekme, notbecause ye saw the miracles, butbecause ye did eatof the loaves, and were filled.
Labournotfor the meatwhichperisheth, butfor that meatwhichendurethuntoeverlastinglife, which the Son of man shall giveuntoyou: forhimhathGod the Fathersealed.
Then said theyuntohim, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?
Jesusansweredandsaid unto them, Thisis the work of God, that ye believeonhimwhom he hath sent.

They saidtherefore unto him, Whatsignshewestthouthen, that we may see, andbelievethee?what dost thouwork?
Ourfathers did eatmannain the desert; as it iswritten, He gavethembreadfromheaven to eat.
ThenJesussaid unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Mosesgaveyounot that breadfromheaven; butmyFathergivethyou the truebreadfromheaven.
For the bread of God is hewhich cometh downfromheaven, andgivethlife unto the world.
Then said theyuntohim, Lord, evermoregiveusthisbread.
AndJesussaid unto them, Iam the bread of life: he that comethtomeshallneverhunger; and he that believethonmeshallneverthirst.
But I said unto you, Thatyealso have seenme, andbelievenot.
Allthat the Fathergivethme shall cometome; and him thatcomethtome I will in no wisecastout.
For I came downfromheaven, nottodo mine ownwill, but the will of him that sentme.
Andthisis the Father's willwhich hath sentme, that of allwhich he hath givenme I should losenothing, but should raiseit up againat the lastday.
Andthisis the will of himthatsentme, that every onewhichseeth the Son, andbelievethonhim, may haveeverlastinglife: andIwillraisehimup at the lastday.

The Jewsthenmurmuredathim, because he said, Iam the breadwhich came downfromheaven.
And they said, IsnotthisJesus, the son of Joseph, whosefatherandmotherweknow? how isitthen that hesaith, I came downfromheaven?

No mancancometome, except the Fatherwhich hath sentmedrawhim: andI will raisehimup at the lastday.

It iswrittenin the prophets, And they shall bealltaughtofGod. Every mantherefore that hath heard, and hath learnedof the Father, comethuntome.
Notthat any man hath seen the Father, savehewhichis of God, he hath seen the Father.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believethonmehatheverlastinglife.
Iam that bread of life.
Yourfathers did eatmannain the wilderness, and are dead.
Thisis the breadwhich cometh downfromheaven, that a man may eatthereof, andnotdie.
Iam the livingbreadwhich came downfromheaven: if any maneatofthisbread, he shall liveforever: and the breadthatI will giveismyflesh, whichI will givefor the lifeof the world.

The Jewsthereforestroveamongthemselves, saying, Howcan this mangiveus his flesh to eat?
ThenJesussaid unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, anddrinkhisblood, ye havenolifeinyou.

Whoso eatethmyflesh, anddrinkethmyblood, hatheternallife; andI will raisehimup at the lastday.
