1And as hewent out of the temple, oneofhisdisciplessaith unto him, Master, seewhatmannerofstonesandwhatbuildings are here!
2AndJesusansweringsaid unto him, Seest thouthesegreatbuildings? there shallnot be left one stoneuponanother, thatshallnot be thrown down.
3And as hesatupon the mount of Olives over against the temple, PeterandJamesandJohnandAndrewaskedhimprivately,
4Tellus, whenshall these thingsbe?andwhatshallbe the signwhenall these thingsshallbefulfilled?
5AndJesusansweringthembegan to say, Take heedlestany man deceiveyou:
6Formany shall comeinmyname, saying, Iam Christ; and shall deceivemany.
7Andwhenye shall hear of warsandrumours of wars, beyenottroubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall notbeyet.
8Fornation shall riseagainstnation, andkingdomagainstkingdom: and there shall beearthquakes in diversplaces, and there shall befaminesandtroubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.
9But take heedtoyourselves: for they shall deliveryouuptocouncils; andin the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be broughtbeforerulersandkingsformysake, for a testimony against them.
10And the gospelmustfirst be publishedamongallnations.
11Butwhen they shall leadyou, and deliveryouup, takeno thought beforehandwhatye shall speak, neither do yepremeditate: butwhatsoever shall begivenyouinthathour, thatspeakye: for it isnotyethatspeak, but the HolyGhost.
12Now the brother shall betray the brothertodeath, and the father the son; andchildren shall rise upagainst their parents, and shall causethemto be put todeath.
13And ye shall behatedofall men formy name's sake: but he that shall endureunto the end, the same shall besaved.
14Butwhen ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of byDaniel the prophet, standingwhere it ought not,(let him that readethunderstand,) then let them that be inJudaeafleeto the mountains:
15And let him that is on the housetopnot go downinto the house, neitherenter therein, to take any thing out ofhishouse:
16Andlet him that isin the fieldnotturnbackagain for to take uphisgarment.
17Butwoe to them that arewithchild, and to them that give suckinthosedays!
18And pray yethatyourflightbenot in the winter.
19For in thosedays shall beaffliction, suchaswasnotfrom the beginning of the creationwhichGodcreatedunto this time, neither shall be.
20Andexcept that the Lord had shortened those days, noflesh should besaved: butfor the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.
21Andthenif any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not:
22For false Christsand false prophets shall rise, and shall shewsignsandwonders, toseduce, if it were possible, even the elect.
23Buttakeyeheed: behold, I have foretoldyou all things.
24Butinthosedays, afterthattribulation, the sunshall be darkened, and the moonshallnotgiveherlight,
25And the stars of heavenshallfall, and the powers that are inheavenshall be shaken.
26Andthen shall they see the Son of mancomingin the cloudswithgreatpowerandglory.
27Andthen shall he sendhisangels, and shall gather togetherhiselectfrom the fourwinds, from the uttermost part of the earthto the uttermost part of heaven.
28Nowlearn a parableof the fig tree; Whenherbranchisyettender, and putteth forthleaves, ye knowthatsummerisnear:
29Soye in like manner, whenye shall see these things come to pass, knowthat it isnigh, even at the doors.
30Verily I say unto you, thatthisgenerationshallnotpass, tillall these things be done.
32Butofthatdayandthathourknoweth no man, no, not the angelswhich are inheaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

Take ye heed, watchandpray: for ye knownotwhen the timeis.

For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who lefthishouse, andgaveauthoritytohisservants, andto every manhiswork, andcommanded the portertowatch.

Watch yetherefore: foryeknownotwhen the master of the housecometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
