I wasin the Spiriton the Lord's day, andheardbehindme a greatvoice, as of a trumpet,
11Saying, IamAlphaandOmega, the firstand the last: and, What thou seest, writein a book, andsend it unto the sevenchurcheswhich are inAsia; untoEphesus, anduntoSmyrna, anduntoPergamos, anduntoThyatira, anduntoSardis, anduntoPhiladelphia, anduntoLaodicea.
12And I turned to see the voicethatspakewithme. And being turned, I sawsevengoldencandlesticks;
13Andin the midst of the sevencandlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, andgirtabout the paps with a goldengirdle.
14Hisheadandhishairs were whitelikewool, aswhiteassnow; andhiseyes were as a flame of fire;
15Andhisfeetlike unto fine brass, as if they burnedin a furnace; andhisvoiceas the sound of manywaters.
16And he hadinhisrighthandsevenstars: and out ofhismouthwent a sharptwoedgedsword: andhiscountenance was as the sunshinethinhisstrength.
17AndwhenIsawhim, Ifellathisfeetasdead. And he laidhisrighthanduponme, saying unto me, Fearnot; Iam the firstand the last:
18
I am he that liveth, andwasdead; and, behold, I amaliveforevermore, Amen; andhave the keys of helland of death.
19Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things whichare, and the things whichshallbehereafter;
20
The mystery of the sevenstarswhich thou sawestinmy right hand, and the sevengoldencandlesticks. The sevenstarsare the angels of the sevenchurches: and the sevencandlestickswhich thou sawestare the sevenchurches.
