To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewingallmeeknessuntoallmen.
3For we ourselvesalsoweresometimesfoolish, disobedient, deceived, servingdiverslustsandpleasures, livinginmaliceandenvy, hateful, andhating one another.
4Butafter that the kindnessandlove of GodourSaviour toward manappeared,
5Notbyworksofrighteousnesswhichwe have done, but according tohismercy he savedus, by the washingofregeneration, andrenewingof the HolyGhost;
6Which he shedonusabundantlythroughJesusChristourSaviour;
7That being justified byhisgrace, we should be madeheirs according to the hope of eternallife.

This is a faithfulsaying, and these things I willthatthou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintaingoodworks. These thingsaregoodand profitable unto men.
9Butavoidfoolishquestions, andgenealogies, andcontentions, and strivings about the law; for they areunprofitableandvain.

A man that is an heretickafter the firstandsecondadmonitionreject;
11Knowingthat he that is such is subverted, andsinneth, being condemned of himself.
12When I shall sendArtemasuntothee, orTychicus, be diligenttocomeuntometoNicopolis: for I have determinedtheretowinter.
13BringZenas the lawyerandApollos on their journeydiligently, thatnothing be wanting unto them.
14Andletoursalsolearn to maintaingoodworksfornecessaryuses, that they benotunfruitful.
