1AndI, brethren, couldnotspeak unto youas unto spiritual, butas unto carnal, even as unto babesinChrist.
2
I have fedyou with milk, andnot with meat: forhitherto ye werenotable to bear it, neitheryetnow are ye able.
3Foryeareyetcarnal: forwhereas there is amongyouenvying, andstrife, anddivisions, areyenotcarnal, andwalkasmen?
4Forwhileonesaith, Iam of Paul; andanother, Iam of Apollos; are ye notcarnal?
5WhothenisPaul, andwhoisApollos, butministersbywhom ye believed, evenas the Lordgave to every man?
6I have planted, Apolloswatered; butGod gave the increase.
7So then neitheris he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; butGod that giveth the increase.
8Now he that plantethand he that waterethareone: and every man shall receive his ownrewardaccording to his ownlabour.
9For we are labourers together with God: ye areGod's husbandry, ye areGod's building.
10According to the grace of Godwhich is given unto me, as a wisemasterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, andanotherbuildeth thereon. Butlet every man take heedhow he buildeth thereupon.
11Forotherfoundationcan no manlaythan that islaid, whichisJesusChrist.
12Now if any manbuilduponthisfoundationgold, silver, preciousstones, wood, hay, stubble;
13
Every man's work shall be mademanifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealedbyfire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
14
If any man's workabidewhich he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
15
If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yetsoasbyfire.
16
Know yenotthatyeare the temple of God, andthat the Spirit of Goddwellethinyou?
17
If any mandefile the temple of God, himshallGoddestroy; for the temple of Godisholy, whichtempleyeare.
18Let no mandeceivehimself. If any manamongyouseemeth to bewiseinthisworld, let him become a fool, that he may bewise.
19For the wisdom of thisworldisfoolishnesswithGod. For it iswritten, He taketh the wisein their owncraftiness.
20Andagain, The Lordknoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they arevain.
21Thereforelet no mangloryinmen. For all thingsareyours;
22WhetherPaul, orApollos, orCephas, or the world, orlife, ordeath, or things present, or things to come; allareyours;
