Let a mansoaccount of us, as of the ministers of Christ, andstewards of the mysteries of God.
Moreover it is requiredinstewards, that a man be foundfaithful.
But with me it is a very small thingthat I should be judgedofyou, orof man's judgment: yea, I judgenot mine own self.
ForIknownothing by myself; yet am Inotherebyjustified: but he that judgethmeis the Lord.
Thereforejudgenothingbefore the time, until the Lordcome, whoboth will bring to light the hidden thingsofdarkness, and will make manifest the counselsof the hearts: andthen shall every manhavepraiseofGod.
And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferredtomyselfandtoApollosfor your sakes; that ye might learninusnottothink of men abovethatwhich is written, thatnoone of you be puffed upforoneagainstanother.
Forwhomakeththee to differ from another? andwhat hast thouthatthoudidstnotreceive? now ifthoudidstreceive it, why dost thouglory, asifthouhadstnotreceived it?
Now ye arefull, now ye arerich, ye have reigned as kingswithoutus: and I would to God ye did reign, thatwealso might reignwithyou.
For I thinkthatGod hath set forthus the apostleslast, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men.
We are foolsforChrist's sake, butye are wiseinChrist; we are weak, butye are strong; ye are honourable, butwe are despised.
Even unto this presenthourwebothhunger, andthirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwellingplace;
Andlabour, working with our ownhands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it:

Being defamed, we intreat: we are madeas the filth of the world, and are the offscouring of all thingsunto this day.

I writenot these things to shameyou, butasmybelovedsons I warnyou.
Forthough ye have ten thousandinstructorsinChrist, yethave ye notmanyfathers: forinChristJesusIhavebegottenyouthrough the gospel.
Wherefore I beseechyou, be yefollowers of me.
Forthiscause have I sent unto youTimotheus, whoismybelovedson, andfaithfulin the Lord, who shall bringyou into remembrance of mywayswhich be inChrist, as I teacheverywhereineverychurch.
Nowsome are puffed up, as thoughIwouldnotcometoyou.
But I willcometoyoushortly, if the Lordwill, andwillknow, not the speech of them which are puffed up, but the power.
For the kingdom of God is notinword, butinpower.
What will ye? shall I comeuntoyouwith a rod, orinlove, andin the spirit of meekness?
