Forasmuch then asChrist hath sufferedforusin the flesh, armyourselveslikewise with the samemind: for he that hath sufferedin the flesh hath ceased from sin;
Thathe no longer should live the rest of his timein the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.
For the timepast of our life may sufficeus to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walkedinlasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, andabominableidolatries:
Wherein they think it strange that yerunnot with them to the sameexcessofriot, speaking evil of you:
Who shall giveaccount to him that isready to judge the quickand the dead.
Forfor this cause was the gospel preachedalsoto them that are dead, that they might be judged according tomen in the flesh, butlive according toGod in the spirit.
But the end of all things is at hand: be yethereforesober, andwatchuntoprayer.
Andabove all thingshaveferventcharityamongyourselves: forcharity shall cover the multitude of sins.

Use hospitality one to anotherwithoutgrudging.
As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, asgoodstewards of the manifoldgrace of God.

If any manspeak, let him speakas the oraclesofGod; if any manminister, let him do it asof the abilitywhichGodgiveth: thatGodin all things may beglorifiedthroughJesusChrist, to whombepraiseanddominionforeverandever. Amen.
Beloved, think itnotstrange concerning the fiery trialwhichistotryyou, as though some strangethinghappened unto you:
Butrejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, whenhisglory shall be revealed, ye may be gladalso with exceeding joy.
If ye be reproachedfor the nameofChrist, happy are ye; for the spiritofgloryandofGodrestethuponyou: on their part he is evil spoken of, buton your part he is glorified.
Butletnone of yousufferas a murderer, oras a thief, oras an evildoer, oras a busybody in other men's matters.
Yetif any man suffer as a Christian, let himnot be ashamed; but let himglorifyGodonthisbehalf.
For the time is come that judgment must beginat the house of God: andif it firstbeginatus, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
Andif the righteousscarcely be saved, whereshall the ungodlyand the sinnerappear?
Whereforelet them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of theirsoulsto him in well doing, as unto a faithfulCreator.
