1NowPeterandJohn went uptogetherinto the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninthhour.
2And a certainmanlamefromhis mother's womb was carried, whom they laiddailyat the gateof the templewhich is calledBeautiful, to askalmsof them that enteredinto the temple;
3WhoseeingPeterandJohnabout to gointo the templeasked an alms.
4AndPeter, fastening his eyesuponhimwithJohn, said, Lookonus.
5And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receivesomethingofthem.
6ThenPetersaid, SilverandgoldhaveInone; but such asIhave give Ithee: In the name of JesusChrist of Nazareth rise upandwalk.
7And he tookhim by the righthand, and lifted himup: andimmediatelyhisfeetand ankle bones received strength.
8And he leapingupstood, andwalked, andenteredwiththeminto the temple, walking, andleaping, andpraisingGod.
9Andall the peoplesawhimwalkingandpraisingGod:
10And they knewthatitwashewhichsatforalmsat the Beautifulgate of the temple: and they were filled with wonderandamazementatthatwhich had happened unto him.
11And as the lame man which was healedheldPeterandJohn, all the people ran togetheruntothemin the porch that is called Solomon's, greatly wondering.
12And when Petersaw it, he answeredunto the people, Yemen of Israel, why marvel yeatthis?orwhy look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our ownpowerorholiness we had madethisman to walk?

The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of ourfathers, hath glorifiedhisSonJesus; whomye delivered up, anddeniedhimin the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to lethimgo.
14Butyedenied the Holy Oneand the Just, anddesired a murderer to be granted unto you;
15Andkilled the Prince of life, whomGod hath raisedfrom the dead; whereofwearewitnesses.
16Andhisnamethroughfaith in hisname hath madethismanstrong, whom ye seeandknow: yea, the faith which isbyhim hath givenhimthis perfect soundness in the presence of youall.
17Andnow, brethren, I wotthatthroughignorance ye did it, asdidalsoyourrulers.
18But those things, whichGod before had shewedby the mouth of allhisprophets, that Christ should suffer, he hathsofulfilled.

Repent yetherefore, and be converted, thatyoursins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall comefrom the presence of the Lord;
20And he shall sendJesusChrist, which before was preached unto you:
21Whom the heavenmustreceiveuntil the times of restitution of allthings, whichGod hath spokenby the mouth of allhisholyprophetssince the world began.
22ForMosestrulysaidunto the fathers, A prophetshall the LordyourGod raise upuntoyouofyourbrethren, likeuntome; himshall ye hearin all thingswhatsoever he shallsayuntoyou.
23And it shall come to pass, thateverysoul, whichwillnothearthatprophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.
24Yea, andall the prophetsfromSamueland those that follow after, as many ashavespoken, havelikewiseforetold of thesedays.
25Yeare the children of the prophets, and of the covenantwhichGodmadewithourfathers, sayinguntoAbraham, And in thyseedshallall the kindreds of the earth be blessed.

Unto youfirstGod, having raised uphisSonJesus, senthim to blessyou, in turning away every one of youfromhisiniquities.
