Nowbefore the feastof the passover, when Jesusknewthathishour was comethat he should depart out ofthisworldunto the Father, having lovedhisownwhich were in the world, he lovedthemunto the end.
Andsupper being ended, the devil having nowputinto the heart of JudasIscariot, Simon's son, tobetrayhim;
Jesusknowingthat the Father had given all thingsintohishands, andthat he was comefromGod, andwenttoGod;

He risethfromsupper, and laid aside his garments; andtook a towel, andgirdedhimself.

After that he pourethwaterinto a bason, andbegan to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towelwherewith he wasgirded.
Jesussaith to him, He that iswashedneedethnotsave to wash his feet, butisclean every whit: andyeareclean, butnotall.
Forheknewwho should betrayhim; therefore said he, Ye arenotallclean.
Soafter he had washedtheirfeet, and had takenhisgarments, and was set downagain, he said unto them, Know yewhat I have done to you?
YecallmeMasterandLord: andyesaywell; for so I am.
IfIthen, yourLordandMaster, have washedyourfeet; yealsoought to wash one another's feet.
ForI have givenyou an example, thatye should doasI have done to you.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servantisnot greater thanhislord; neither he that issent greater than he that senthim.
Ifyeknow these things, happy are yeifyedothem.
Ispeaknotofyouall: IknowwhomI have chosen: butthat the scripture may be fulfilled, He thateatethbreadwithme hath lifted uphisheelagainstme.
NowItellyoubefore it come, that, when it is come to pass, ye may believethatIam he.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receivethwhomsoever I sendreceivethme; and he that receivethmereceiveth him that sentme.

When Jesushadthussaid, he was troubled in spirit, andtestified, andsaid, Verily, verily, I say unto you, thatoneofyou shall betrayme.
Then the discipleslooked one on another, doubtingofwhom he spake.
Now there wasleaningonJesus' bosomone of hisdisciples, whomJesusloved.
SimonPeterthereforebeckoned to him, that he shouldaskwho it shouldbeofwhom he spake.
Hethen lying onJesus' breastsaith unto him, Lord, who is it?
Jesusanswered, He it is, to whomI shall give a sop, when I have dipped it. And when he had dipped the sop, hegave it to JudasIscariot, the son of Simon.
Andafter the sopSatanenteredintohim. ThensaidJesus unto him, That thou doest, doquickly.
Now no man at the tableknew for whatintent he spakethis unto him.
Forsomeof them thought, becauseJudashad the bag, thatJesushadsaid unto him, Buy those things that we have need ofagainst the feast; or, that he should givesomething to the poor.
Hethen having received the sopwentimmediatelyout: and it wasnight.
Therefore, when he was gone out, Jesussaid, Nowis the Son of manglorified, andGodisglorifiedinhim.
IfGod be glorifiedinhim, Godshallalsoglorifyhiminhimself, andshallstraightwayglorifyhim.

Little children, yet a little whileIamwithyou. Ye shall seekme: andasIsaid unto the Jews, WhitherIgo, yecannotcome; sonowIsay to you.

A newcommandment I give unto you, Thatyelove one another; as I have lovedyou, thatyealsolove one another.
Bythisshallall men knowthat ye aremydisciples, if ye havelove one to another.
SimonPetersaid unto him, Lord, whithergoest thou? Jesusansweredhim, Whither I go, thou canstnotfollowmenow; but thou shalt followmeafterwards.
Petersaid unto him, Lord, whycannot I followtheenow? I will lay downmylifefor thy sake.
Jesusansweredhim, Wilt thou lay downthylifefor my sake?Verily, verily, I say unto thee, The cockshallnotcrow, till thou hast deniedmethrice.
