1And there appeared a greatwonderinheaven; a womanclothed with the sun, and the moonunderherfeet, anduponherhead a crown of twelvestars:
2And she beingwithchildcried, travailing in birth, andpained to be delivered.
3And there appearedanotherwonderinheaven; andbehold a greatreddragon, havingsevenheadsandtenhorns, andsevencrownsuponhisheads.
4Andhistaildrew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did castthemto the earth: and the dragonstoodbefore the womanwhich was readyto be delivered, fortodevourherchildas soon as it was born.
5And she brought forth a manchild, whowas to ruleallnationswith a rod of iron: andherchildwas caught upuntoGod, and to histhrone.
6And the womanfledinto the wilderness, where she hath a placepreparedofGod, that they should feedherthere a thousand two hundredandthreescoredays.
7And there waswarinheaven: Michaelandhisangelsfoughtagainst the dragon; and the dragonfoughtandhisangels,
8Andprevailednot; neitherwastheirplacefound any moreinheaven.
9And the greatdragon was cast out, that oldserpent, called the Devil, andSatan, whichdeceiveth the wholeworld: he was cast outinto the earth, andhisangels were cast outwithhim.
10And I heard a loudvoicesayinginheaven, Now is comesalvation, andstrength, and the kingdom of ourGod, and the power of hisChrist: for the accuser of ourbrethren is cast down, whichaccusedthembeforeourGoddayandnight.
11Andtheyovercamehimby the blood of the Lamb, andby the word of theirtestimony; andtheylovednottheirlivesunto the death.
12Thereforerejoice, ye heavens, and ye thatdwellinthem. Woe to the inhabiters of the earthand of the sea! for the devil is come downuntoyou, havinggreatwrath, because he knoweththat he hath but a shorttime.
13Andwhen the dragonsawthat he was castunto the earth, he persecuted the womanwhich brought forth the man child.
14And to the woman were giventwowings of a greateagle, that she might flyinto the wilderness, intoherplace, where she is nourished for a time, andtimes, andhalf a time, from the face of the serpent.
15And the serpentcast out ofhismouthwateras a floodafter the woman, that he might causeher to be carried away of the flood.
16And the earthhelped the woman, and the earthopenedhermouth, and swallowed up the floodwhich the dragoncast out ofhismouth.
17And the dragon was wrothwith the woman, andwent to makewarwith the remnant of herseed, whichkeep the commandments of God, andhave the testimony of JesusChrist.
