1
Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, butnottodoubtfuldisputations.
2Foronebelieveth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eatethherbs.
3Letnothim that eatethdespisehim that eatethnot; andletnothim which eatethnotjudgehim that eateth: forGod hath receivedhim.
4Whoartthou that judgest another man's servant? to his ownmaster he standethorfalleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: forGodisable to makehimstand.
5Onemanesteemethonedayaboveanother: anotheresteemetheveryday alike. Leteveryman be fully persuadedin his ownmind.
6
He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardethnot the day, to the Lord he dothnotregard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth Godthanks; and he that eatethnot, to the Lord he eatethnot, and giveth Godthanks.
7Fornone of usliveth to himself, and no mandieth to himself.
8Forwhether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we livetherefore, ordie, we are the Lord's.
9Fortothis end Christbothdied, androse, andrevived, that he might be Lordboth of the deadandliving.
10Butwhydostthoujudgethybrother?orwhydostthou set at noughtthybrother?for we shallall stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
11For it is written, As Ilive, saith the Lord, everyknee shall bow to me, andeverytongue shall confess to God.
12Sothen every oneofus shall giveaccountofhimself to God.
13
Let us not thereforejudge one another any more: butjudgethisrather, that no manput a stumblingblockor an occasion to fall in his brother's way.
14
I know, and am persuadedby the LordJesus, that there is nothinguncleanofitself: but to himthatesteemeth any thing to beunclean, to him it is unclean.
15Butifthybrother be grievedwiththymeat, now walkest thounotcharitably. Destroynothimwiththymeat, forwhomChristdied.
16Letnotthenyourgood be evil spoken of:
17For the kingdom of Godisnotmeatanddrink; butrighteousness, andpeace, andjoyin the HolyGhost.
18For he that in these thingsservethChrist is acceptable to God, andapproved of men.
19
Let ustherefore follow after the things which make forpeace, and things wherewithone may edifyanother.
20Formeatdestroynot the work of God. All thingsindeed are pure; but it is evilfor that man who eatethwithoffence.
21
It is goodneither to eatflesh, nor to drinkwine, nor any thing wherebythybrotherstumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.
22Hastthoufaith?have it tothyselfbeforeGod. Happy is he that condemnethnothimselfin that thing which he alloweth.
23And he that doubtethisdamnedif he eat, because he eateth notoffaith: forwhatsoeverisnotoffaithissin.
