For the lawhaving a shadow of good things to come, and not the veryimage of the things, cannever with thosesacrificeswhich they offeredyear by yearcontinuallymake the comers thereuntoperfect.

For then would theynot have ceased to be offered?because that the worshippersoncepurged should have hadnomoreconscience of sins.
Butinthose sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sinseveryyear.
For it is not possible that the blood of bullsand of goats should take awaysins.
Wherefore when he comethinto the world, he saith, Sacrificeandoffering thou wouldestnot, but a body hast thou preparedme:

In burnt offeringsand sacrifices forsin thou hast hadnopleasure.
Then said I, Lo, I come(in the volumeof the book it is writtenofme,) to dothywill, O God.
Above when he said, Sacrificeandofferingand burnt offeringsandofferingforsin thou wouldestnot, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offeredby the law;
Then said he, Lo, I come to dothywill, O God. He taketh away the first, thathe may establish the second.
By the whichwill we aresanctifiedthrough the offering of the body of JesusChristonce for all.
Andeveryprieststandethdailyministeringandofferingoftentimes the samesacrifices, whichcannever take awaysins:
But this man, after he had offeredonesacrificeforsinsforever, sat downon the right hand of God;

From henceforthexpectingtillhisenemies be madehisfootstool.
For by oneoffering he hath perfectedforever them that are sanctified.
Whereof the HolyGhostalso is a witness to us: forafter that he had said before,
This is the covenantthat I will makewiththemafterthosedays, saith the Lord, I will putmylawsintotheirhearts, andintheirminds will I writethem;
Andtheirsinsandiniquities will I remembernomore.
Nowwhereremission of these is, there is no moreofferingforsin.
Havingtherefore, brethren, boldnesstoenter into the holiestby the blood of Jesus,

By a newandlivingway, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, hisflesh;
And having an highpriestover the house of God;

Let us draw nearwith a trueheartin full assurance of faith, having our heartssprinkledfrom an evilconscience, and our bodieswashedwithpurewater.

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering;(for he is faithful that promised;)
And let us consider one anothertoprovoke unto loveandtogoodworks:
Notforsaking the assembling of ourselvestogether, as the manner of some is; butexhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the dayapproaching.
For if wesinwilfullyafter that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no moresacrificeforsins,
But a certainfearful looking for of judgmentandfieryindignation, which shalldevour the adversaries.
He that despisedMoses' lawdiedwithoutmercyundertwoorthreewitnesses:

Of how muchsorerpunishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. Andagain, The Lord shall judgehispeople.

It is a fearful thing to fallinto the hands of the livingGod.
But call to remembrance the formerdays, inwhich, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a greatfight of afflictions;
Partly, whilst ye were made a gazingstockboth by reproachesandafflictions; andpartly, whilst ye becamecompanions of them that weresoused.
For ye had compassion of me inmybonds, andtookjoyfully the spoiling of yourgoods, knowinginyourselves that ye haveinheaven a betterand an enduringsubstance.
Castnotawaythereforeyourconfidence, whichhathgreat recompence of reward.
For ye haveneed of patience, that, after ye havedone the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
Foryet a littlewhile, and he that shall comewillcome, andwillnottarry.
Now the just shall livebyfaith: butif any man draw back, mysoul shall havenopleasureinhim.
Butwearenot of them who draw backuntoperdition; but of them that believeto the saving of the soul.
