And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blindfrom his birth.
Andhisdisciplesaskedhim, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, orhisparents, that he was bornblind?
Jesusanswered, Neitherhath this mansinned, norhisparents: butthat the works of God should be made manifestinhim.
Imustwork the works of him that sentme, while it isday: the nightcometh, when no mancanwork.
As long as I amin the world, I am the light of the world.

When he had thusspoken, he spat on the ground, andmadeclayof the spittle, and he anointed the eyesof the blind man with the clay,
Andsaid unto him, Go, washin the pool of Siloam,(which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his waytherefore, andwashed, andcameseeing.

The neighbourstherefore, and they which before had seenhimthat he wasblind, said, Isnotthis he thatsatandbegged?
Somesaid, Thisishe: otherssaid, Heislikehim: but hesaid, Iamhe.
Therefore said they unto him, Howwerethineeyesopened?
Heansweredandsaid, A man that is calledJesusmadeclay, andanointedmineeyes, andsaid unto me, Goto the pool of Siloam, andwash: and I wentandwashed, and I received sight.
Thensaidthey unto him, Whereishe?Hesaid, I knownot.

They broughtto the Phariseeshim that aforetime was blind.
And it was the sabbath daywhenJesusmade the clay, andopenedhiseyes.
Thenagain the Phariseesalsoaskedhimhow he had received his sight. He said unto them, He putclayuponmineeyes, and I washed, and do see.
Thereforesaidsomeof the Pharisees, ThismanisnotofGod, because he keepethnot the sabbath day. Otherssaid, Howcan a man that is a sinnerdosuchmiracles? And there was a divisionamongthem.

They say unto the blind managain, Whatsayestthouofhim, that he hath openedthineeyes? He said, He is a prophet.
But the Jewsdidnotbelieveconcerninghim, that he had beenblind, and received his sight, until they called the parents of himthat had received his sight.
And they askedthem, saying, Isthisyourson, whoyesay was bornblind?howthen doth henowsee?
Hisparentsansweredthemandsaid, We knowthatthisisourson, andthat he was bornblind:
But by what meanshenowseeth, weknownot; orwho hath openedhiseyes, weknownot: heis of age; askhim: he shall speakforhimself.
These words spakehisparents, because they feared the Jews: for the Jews had agreedalready, thatif any man did confessthathe was Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue.
Thereforesaidhisparents, He is of age; askhim.
Thenagain called they the manthatwasblind, andsaid unto him, GiveGod the praise: weknowthatthismanis a sinner.
Heansweredandsaid, Whetherhebe a sinner or no, I knownot: one thing I know, that, whereas I wasblind, now I see.
Then said they to himagain, What did he to thee?how opened hethineeyes?

He answeredthem, I have toldyoualready, andyedidnothear: whereforewouldyehear it again?willyealsobehisdisciples?
Then they reviledhim, andsaid, Thouarthisdisciple; butweareMoses' disciples.
WeknowthatGodspake unto Moses: as for this fellow, weknownot from whence he is.

The manansweredandsaid unto them, Whyhereinis a marvellous thing, thatyeknownot from whence he is, and yet he hath openedmineeyes.
Now we knowthatGodhearethnotsinners: butif any manbe a worshipper of God, anddoethhiswill, him he heareth.
Since the world began was itnotheardthat any manopened the eyes of one that was bornblind.
If this manwerenotofGod, he coulddonothing.

They answeredandsaid unto him, Thouwastaltogetherborninsins, and dost thouteachus? And they casthimout.
Jesusheardthat they had casthimout; and when he had foundhim, he said unto him, Dostthoubelieveon the Son of God?
Heansweredandsaid, Who is he, Lord, that I might believeonhim?
AndJesussaid unto him, Thou hastbothseenhim, and it ishe that talkethwiththee.
And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshippedhim.
AndJesussaid, ForjudgmentI am comeintothisworld, that they which seenot might see; andthat they which see might be madeblind.
And some of the Phariseeswhichwerewithhimheard these words, andsaid unto him, Areweblindalso?
Jesussaid unto them, If ye wereblind, ye shouldhavenosin: butnow ye say, We see; thereforeyoursinremaineth.
