And he looked up, andsaw the rich mencastingtheirgiftsinto the treasury.
And he sawalso a certainpoorwidowcasting in thithertwomites.
And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, thatthispoorwidow hath cast in more than they all:
Forallthese have oftheirabundancecast in unto the offeringsofGod: butsheofherpenury hath cast in all the livingthatshehad.
And as somespakeof the temple, how it was adorned with goodlystonesandgifts, he said,

As for these thingswhich ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shallnot be left one stoneuponanother, thatshallnot be thrown down.
And they askedhim, saying, Master, butwhenshall these thingsbe?andwhatsign will there bewhen these thingsshall come to pass?
And he said, Take heed that yebenotdeceived: formany shall comeinmyname, saying, Iam Christ; and the time draweth near: go yenotthereforeafterthem.
Butwhen ye shall hear of warsandcommotions, benotterrified: for these thingsmustfirst come to pass; but the end is notbyandby.
Then said he unto them, Nation shall riseagainstnation, andkingdomagainstkingdom:
Andgreatearthquakes shall bein divers places, andfamines, andpestilences; and fearful sightsandgreatsigns shall there befromheaven.
Butbeforeallthese, they shall laytheirhandsonyou, andpersecuteyou, deliveringyouup to the synagogues, and into prisons, being broughtbeforekingsandrulersformy name's sake.
And it shall turn to youfor a testimony.
Settle it thereforeinyourhearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer:
ForI will giveyou a mouthandwisdom, whichallyouradversariesshallnot be able to gainsaynorresist.
And ye shall be betrayedbothbyparents, andbrethren, andkinsfolks, andfriends; and some ofyou shall they cause to be put to death.
And ye shall behatedofall men formy name's sake.
But there shall not an hairofyourheadperish.
Inyourpatience possess yeyoursouls.
Andwhen ye shall seeJerusalemcompassedwitharmies, thenknowthat the desolationthereof is nigh.
Thenletthem which are inJudaeafleeto the mountains; andletthem which are in the midst of it depart out; andletnotthem that are in the countriesenterthereinto.
Forthesebe the days of vengeance, that all thingswhich are written may befulfilled.
Butwoeunto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, inthosedays! for there shall begreatdistressin the land, andwrathuponthispeople.
And they shall fall by the edgeof the sword, and shall be led away captiveintoallnations: andJerusalem shall be trodden downof the Gentiles, until the timesof the Gentilesbefulfilled.
And there shall besignsin the sun, andin the moon, andin the stars; andupon the earthdistress of nations, withperplexity; the seaand the wavesroaring;

Men's hearts failing themforfear, andfor looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
Andthen shall they see the Son of mancomingin a cloudwithpowerandgreatglory.
And when these thingsbegin to come to pass, then look up, and lift upyourheads; foryourredemption draweth nigh.
And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, andall the trees;
When they now shoot forth, ye see and knowof your own selvesthatsummerisnow nigh at hand.
Solikewiseye, whenyesee these things come to pass, know yethat the kingdom of Godis nigh at hand.
Verily I say unto you, Thisgenerationshallnot pass away, tillall be fulfilled.
And take heed to yourselves, lest at any timeyourhearts be overchargedwithsurfeiting, anddrunkenness, andcares of this life, and so thatdaycomeuponyouunawares.
Foras a snare shall it comeonall them that dwellon the face of the wholeearth.

Watch yetherefore, andprayalways, thatye may be accounted worthy to escapeall these thingsthatshall come to pass, and to standbefore the Son of man.
Andin the day time he wasteachingin the temple; and at night he went out, andabodein the mount that is called the mount of Olives.
